Twelve years of skin in the game.
Macedon Financial was founded in 2014 by a team of investors who were tired of construction partners who didn't understand the numbers. We'd seen too many projects blow timelines, blow budgets, and blow returns. So we built the firm we wished we'd had.
We started with single-family rehabs in Midtown and South Memphis — markets most contractors avoided. We learned those neighborhoods from the inside out: the permit offices, the inspectors, the subcontractors who showed up and the ones who didn't.
Today we manage ground-up builds and full-scope renovations across the Memphis metro, from Collierville to Cooper-Young. Our clients are institutional investors, private equity funds, family offices, and individual operators who need a construction partner they can trust with their capital.

Founder & CEO
Marcus has overseen more than $180M in residential construction across the Memphis metro. Before founding Macedon, he spent eight years as a principal at a regional private equity firm focused on value-add real estate.
Diane Okafor
Director of Operations
Diane manages project delivery across all active sites. She brings 14 years of construction management experience and a reputation for keeping complex multi-site programs on schedule.
James Whitfield
Head of Investor Relations
James is the first call for new and existing clients. He structures project agreements, manages reporting, and ensures every investor has full visibility into their capital at all times.
